Empress of Forever by Max Gladstone.

Well... it felt a bit short. It is an entertaining space adventure, light and fast paced. 

The worldbuilding is the place where Gladstone excels, and this is no exception, my issue was that the main character, Vivian was not the least interesting to me, there are parts of her that I liked, but not for the most, maybe I find that CEO superpower admiration shallow and boring at best. So, yeah, Vivian was not my cup of tea, but I liked Zanj very much, I wish her part was more developed as other aspects of the story, like the Suicide Queens.

We get some character development in general, even Viv or Viv's girl, who goes from accessory to an interesting character, but never quite get to their true potential.

In the end it is a fun read, with a very creative universe.
